Fresh sounds from The Interrupters, Blondshell, Jane's Party, The Jayhawks, Leon Bridges

The latest tracks added to our New Music bin:

• The Interrupters - Warrior Spirit - The Los Angeles band finds a way to add 80's synths and some new-wave energy to its punk-ska sound on its first release since 2022.
• Blondshell - Heart Has To Work So Hard - From Violins, the third Blondshell album from LA's Sabrina Teitelbaum.
• Jane's Party - Scream and Shout - The Toronto indie-rock quartet just released its sixth album, Avalanche.
• The Jayhawks - Kingston Girl - We dip back into this summer's release, Sanctuary Park, for this song that we think refers to Kingston, N.Y., since there's a mention of neighboring Saugerties.
• Leon Bridges - Illusion - Pitchfork writes that this track from Happiness Anytime "skillfully blends African and Latin signifiers in a way that feels fresh and unexpected."
