• Alabama Shakes - Garden - Brittany Howard and company give us a soulful take on the if-you-don't-treat-her-right-I-will theme, from the upcoming LP I Must Be Dreaming.
• Annie Keating and The Dreaming Spires - Put Me In Your Hands - Brooklyn-based Keating joins forces with a band from Oxfordshire, UK, on this piece of "sun-drenched country-rock."
• Grace Cummings - Bloodhorse - The title track from the Melbourne artist's fourth album, which Clash Music calls "an accessible form of the avant garde."
• Brigitte Calls Me Baby - I Can Take The Sun Out Of The Sky - The latest catchy single to spin out of the Chicago band's Irreversible album.
• Peter Gabriel - One By One (Dark-Side Mix) - The August-new-moon release from o/i is a nine-minute epic that revives a character, Mozo, Gabriel first wrote about in his early solo albums.

• Lake Street Dive - You're Never Around - The band calls this a "summer single" and teases that there's another on its way. No word yet on an album to follow 2024's Good Together.
• Bywater Call - No One Else - Another piece of dynamite from Broken Souvenirs by Canada's answer to soulful Southern blues-rock.
• Danielle Ponder - Sun and Moon - Four years after her debut album, the former Rochester N.Y. attorney will release Everything Has Changed this fall. Here's the first single.
• Death Cab for Cutie - Stone Over Water - We pick another track from I Built You A Tower to feature in the New Music bin. 
• Julia Jacklin - Get Away From Me (I Think I'll Love You Soon) - From the Australian singer-songwriter's upcoming LP The Gem. Does the title/refrain mean "I don't want to fall in love with you" or "I will, but not yet"?

• Pete Yorn - Never Said No - The singer-songwriter told Magnet Magazine he sees this opening song on All The Beauty "as saying yes to life—even though life is crazy." 
• Teenage Fanclub - Day In The Sun - From Do Not Dare to Dream, the Scottish band's 13th studio album, this track is billed as a "melodic meditation on renewal and shifting perspective."
• Lake Street Dive - You're Never Around - The band’s first new original track since 2024's Good Together seems to signal a new album is in the works.
• Muse & Ellie Goulding - Hush - An unlikely combination collaborate on this track from The Wow! Signal.
