New music by Mavis Staples, Silversun Pickups, Snocaps, The Gold Needles, Kilowatt Parade

The latest tracks added to our New Music bin:

• Mavis Staples - Chicago - From Sad and Beautiful World comes this cover of a song by Tom Waits and Kathleen Brennan about a family migrating from a stagnant countryside to a strange city. The band includes Buddy Guy and Derek Trucks, with Sam Beam on backing vocals. 
• Silversun Pickups - The Wreckage - The first single from the Los Angeles quartet's upcoming LP Tenterhooks, due in February.
• Snocaps - Brand New City - Snocaps is a new project from sister musician/singers Allison and Katie (Waxahatchee) Crutchfield, joined by MJ Lenderman and producer Brad Cook, who plays bass on this track.
• The Gold Needles - Crescent Moon - This Burbank band brings a very California sound to this track from Mood Elevator, coming out in December.
• Kilowatt Parade - Bargain Perfume - The latest single from the project of Ottawa songwriter Andre Nault.
